This policy explains what data the Pixelmast Cloud Android app (package com.pixelmast.cloud) and the Cloud Tracks service at pixelmast.com collect, why, and how you can have it deleted. Contact: admin@pixelmast.com.

What we collect

• Location — the phone's precise and approximate position, speed and course. When you start tracking, drop anchor or turn on race mode, the app records the position (once per minute; once per second in race mode; every 10 seconds while the anchor watch is armed) and uploads it to your boat on pixelmast.com. This continues in the background, including when the app is closed or the phone is locked, until you press Stop. A permanent notification is shown while tracking is on.
• Boat instrument data — only if you connect the app to your boat's NMEA Wi-Fi: wind, depth, boat speed and nearby AIS targets received by your boat.
• Device identifier and boat token — a device ID and the boat token you enter, sent with each upload so the server knows which boat the data belongs to.
• Account data — if you create a Cloud Tracks account on the website shown inside the app: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).

Why we use it

Only to provide the service you asked for: showing your boat on the map, recording and replaying voyages, the anchor-drag alarm, race tracking and results, and sharing a boat or race with people you choose. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and the app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Third parties

We do not share your data with other companies. To draw maps and forecasts, the app requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap and OpenSeaMap and weather data from Open-Meteo for the map area you are viewing; those requests contain the area's coordinates but no account or boat information. Data you choose to share (a shared boat, a race spectator link) is visible to the people you share it with.

Storage and security

Data is sent over encrypted HTTPS and stored on our servers in Germany (Hetzner). Tracks and trips are kept until you delete them or your account. AIS data received from your boat is kept for 90 days. The boat token and settings on your phone are excluded from device backups.

Deleting your data

• Stop tracking at any time with Stop tracking in the app, or revoke the location permission in Android settings.
• Delete individual trips from your account on pixelmast.com/cloud.
• To delete your whole account and all its boats, tracks and data, email admin@pixelmast.com from the account's email address. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13.

Safety note

Pixelmast Cloud is an aid to navigation only — never a nautical chart, a primary means of navigation or a safety-of-life system.
