1 · Simulator

Generates real N2K traffic on the CAN bus — GPS, engine, wind, depth, AIS — at correct rates with proper address claim. Bench-test a backbone, validate a chartplotter's PGN handling, or demo a system with no boat.

2 · Tester

Passive bus analyzer: device discovery, PGN frequency, frames-per-second, and bus error counters. Walk onto any boat and verify the NMEA 2000 backbone is healthy.

3 · WiFi Simulator

Streams NMEA 0183 + N2K Actisense ASCII over TCP/UDP on WiFi — no CAN wiring. Test OpenCPN, Navionics, and other apps from the bench.
